GIT is the most widely used version control system in the world today and considered the modern standard for software development. In this introductory course, you will explore how to work with public/private repositories on GitHub and/or BitBucket. GIT is a powerful tool that is used for more than just code! Do you edit photos? Do you keep track of things on one or more Excel workbooks? Are you an author who writes content? Even though this class is primarily geared towards those who use code, learning the basics and commands of GIT can benefit anyone.
