Genealogy: Identify Photograph Eras

Do you have old photos of mystery ancestors? The method of photography, print variations, fashions, hairstyles, backgrounds and subjects in the image provide clues to help you identify the era of the photo. Explore the Daguerreotype, Ambrotype, Tintype, Cartes de Visite and Cabinet Card with genealogist, Lyle Potter, and learn how you can approximate a date for them. Feel free to bring any mystery photos with you.
