In recognition of Black History Month, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion invites you to an evening of education, music, and food at the Soul Food Dinner celebration!
Prepared by LeChristopher’s Southern Cuisine staff, the dinner will include your choice of a homemade entrée, sides, desserts, and a drink.
The event will also feature an on-site lesson on the contributions of the African Diaspora to Southern Cuisine presented by Rev. Abraham L. Funchess, Jr.
Tickets
The first 60 tickets are free to Hawkeye students with ID and can be picked up in advance at the Unity and Understanding Center, Hawkeye Center 202.
Faculty, staff, and community members can purchase a meal on the day of the event at the Jubilee UMC Freedom Center. Each meal is $15.
