Spring 2021 Course List: This course list identifies face-to-face classes that will be delivered via Zoom at their scheduled days and times through March 19. All other courses will run as scheduled at their designated days, times, and locations.

Extended hours: Many offices are open 8:00am–6:00pm weekdays through January 22. Offices with extended hours include Student Services, Business Office, Financial Aid, and Admissions.

Join us on campus to learn more about Agriculture and Natural Resources programs. Due to COVID-19, attendance for each program is limited. Each student is limited to one guest. All visitors are required to wear a mask.

Animal Science

Develop the skills and knowledge required to enter a career in animal science or to transfer to a four-year university. Learn the complete life cycle of beef and swine from pasture to plate with hands-on training in anatomy and physiology, animal behavior, record keeping, proper animal care, feeding and nutrition, reproduction and reproductive technology, production and farm management, and meat science / butchering. 

Veterinary Assisting

Veterinary Assisting, an option of the Animal Science program, provides you the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge required for an entry-level career as a veterinary assistant.

Landscape and Turf Management

Prepare for a variety of landscape, grounds maintenance, and turf management professional careers. You will learn the science, technical, and managerial knowledge and skills necessary to be successful, including turfgrass growth and development, athletic field maintenance, construction safety, pesticide application and safety, landscape estimating and construction, irrigation systems, and soil fertility and testing.


Natural Resources Management

Gain the necessary skills and certifications to work in the natural resources field. You will learn about the theories and physical aspects of conservation practices. You will help manage two on-campus ponds and prairies as well as work with community members and conservation agencies on natural resources projects.
