Dry Run Creek is a good-time country band rooted deep in the Midwest, delivering a lively mix of bluegrass, traditional, and outlaw country. Named after the winding creeks of their rural hometown, the band’s sound is steeped in the stories of small-town life, love, and heartbreak. Known for their heartfelt lyrics, tight harmonies, and impressive leads, Dry Run Creek has become a local favorite, turning every show into a celebration of the simpler things in life. They bring an authentic energy that gets the crowd on their feet and singing along.
“Brad & Kate” is a pop-folk group lead by husband and wife duo, Kate Myers and Brad Myers. Their first full-length album boasts a variety of sounds from their newly released pop single, “You Right Next to Me” to indie-folk-rock, “Better on My Own” to a reflective, “Dreams Change".

The Nitpickers perform an upbeat, down-homey, feel-good blend of iconic music from across decades and genres. Based in the Cedar Valley, since 2016 they have performed at venues and events throughout Iowa, and the current performers are all long-time professors at Hawkeye Community College. Come share with them an evening of fellowship and joy, the kind that only live music can bring.

The Student Art Show is a juried show featuring artwork from students in Graphic Design, Professional Photography, Digital Mass Media, Welding, and other fine arts courses. You can see the art on display at the Hawkeye Library from April to early May during regular library hours.
