Spring Textbook Buyback and Rental Return
With the end of the semester quickly approaching, our official Buyback and Rental Return period will be upon us shortly.  If your student rented any textbooks during the spring semester, they are due back to the bookstore no later than Friday, May 17, 2019.  Books returned past this date or not returned at all will be subject to late fees or replacement charges.  If your student purchased their textbooks, either from us or another source, they are welcome to bring them into the store during business hours May 6 – May 17 to see what they are worth for buyback.  If it’s a book we are using again in the summer/fall, or being purchased by another source, we will pay cash on the spot to take it off your student’s hands.

Mark your calendar for these important Hawkeye Bookstore dates

  • May 6-17 – Buyback and Rental Return in store
  • May 1, 2019 – Summer Booklist and books available
  • July 1, 2019 – Fall Booklist available online
  • August 16, 2019 – Student Accounts open for charging

Summer Textbook Info
The time has come to start thinking about summer classes and of course, textbooks.  If your student is taking any summer classes, the booklist will be available online at hawkeyebookstore.com starting May 1, 2019.  We will be stocking our shelves as shipments arrive in every effort to have books available before classes start.  The business office has allowed us to open student accounts on May 24, 2019 for the summer, but as always, Minimester books are not allowed to be charged to student accounts.
