November is Financial Aid Awareness Month

November is Financial Aid Awareness Month.  Here are a couple things to keep in mind regarding your student’s financial aid.

The 2019 – 2020 FAFSA application is now available! Visit or download the myStudentAid mobile app to file the FAFSA.

Spring 2019 registration opens October 29th.  Make sure your student has turned in all pending documents and their financial aid has been processed for this school year.  Your student will not be able to register for spring courses if they still have a bill from fall term.

Is your student graduating in December? Make sure they sign up for an In-Person Exit Loan Counseling session, complete Online Exit Counseling, and complete Path 3 of the GradReady program series.  Student Transcripts will be held until these requirements are completed. Contact the Financial Aid Office with any questions.

Wouldn’t it be nice to earn some extra money to start off the New Year? Encourage your student to look into Federal Work Study jobs for Spring 2019.  Have the stop by the Financial Aid Office to see if they are eligible.
