Exploring the Career Service Center

posted on Sunday, March 1, 2020 in  Parent Newsletter

Dear Hawkeye Parents,

It’s hard to believe Spring is right around the corner! I know our students are looking forward to Spring Break the week of March 16. The break provides a good time for students to rest a bit while refocusing their energies on the final half of the semester. Whether your son or daughter is traveling to somewhere warm or staying in the area over break, I hope they have time to relax and enjoy the change of pace.

Did you know Hawkeye Community College has a Career Services Center? The Career Services Center is located in Bremer Hall, Room 102, on our main campus. The Career Services Center offers a wide variety of services, both online and on site. Check out the Career Services Center’s page on our website to learn about resources available. The Career Services Center is also the place to find Community Job Openings for students nearing graduation or looking for part-time work. Please encourage your son or daughter to visit the Center soon – or at least explore the website for helpful tips and tricks!

And, as always, thank you for your support of Hawkeye Community College.

Todd Holcomb, Ed.D.
President
