Graduate Spotlight - Jeny Na

Jeny Na graduated high school with the goal of becoming a nurse. She grew up in Decorah, she watched medical shows like Grey’s Anatomy and saw her older sister pursue the profession and love it. A year into the nursing program, however, she realized it wasn’t the right fit.
“I was working as a CNA, and while I was at one of the facilities I ran into a PTA and she was kind of telling me what her job was about,” Jeny recalled. “I kind of fell in love with that.”
Jeny switched to the Physical Therapist Assistant program.
“I think what’s most rewarding is seeing how far I’ve grown from when I first started,” Jeny said. “I’m a lot more confident… I know a lot more and I’m confident in that as well.”
