Extended Hours August 19 – 30, 2019

The following offices, located in Hawkeye Center, will have extended hours: Admissions, Business Office, Financial Aid, Student Services, and Testing*.

Monday–Thursday 7:30am–6:00pm
Friday 7:30am–4:30pm

* The Testing office will open at 8:00am Monday–Friday, August 19–23.

Academic Standards for Satisfactory Progress

Academic Probation

You will be placed on academic probation for one semester if:

  • Your current semester GPA is below 2.00 and/or
  • Your cumulative GPA is below 2.00

During the semester you are on academic probation you must meet with your academic advisor to discuss your progress and to register for classes.

You will remain on academic probation until both your term GPA and cumulative GPA are 2.00 or higher. As a reminder, student’s must have a minimum 2.00 program GPA in order to be eligible to graduate from their program of study.

Academic probation guidelines have been established according to Hawkeye's policy.

You are responsible for monitoring your own progress.

Academic probation may impact your financial aid. Please consult the Financial Aid office if you have questions.
