Study Abroad

Study Abroad in Brazil

Students in an Agriculture program at Hawkeye have the opportunity to study abroad for one semester at the Universidade Federal de Goias in Brazil.

You will study Agriculture and learn public policy, communications, and the language. All courses taken abroad will transfer into your program of study.

You will be provided up to $4000 for travel and living expenses, and $1000 for advanced training in Portuguese language before traveling to Brazil. Students will live with a host family and will be immersed in the culture.

Why Study Abroad?

Developing your language and cultural skills in a variety of markets around the world is essential in our global economy. Brazil has emerged as a vibrant economy in the past decade and is predicted to become the fifth largest economy in the world.
