ADN-121 Transition to Professional Nursing
2 credits—This course focuses on the associate degree nurse as transition occurs from the licensed practical nurse role to the registered nurse role. Course content includes an overview of ethical, legal, and the professional roles/responsibilities of the registered nurse, delegation, prioritization, nursing process, and critical thinking.
Admission to the Associate Degree Nursing Program. This course begins the 3 year time limit for completion of the ADN curriculum. An active permanent Practical Nursing license in good standing is required prior to ADN-226.,
