Hawkeye Username and Password

Hawkeye Username

Your username is your legal firstname.lastname. Example: robert.doe

Your username is the same for My Hawkeye, email, network, and ANGEL.

If you are unsure of your username:

  • go to My Hawkeye.

  • click on "What's My user name?".

  • type in your last name and your social security number OR your seven-digit Hawkeye student ID number. Where do I find my student ID number?

  • click Submit and follow the directions on the screen.

Hawkeye Passwords

Your password is the same for My Hawkeye, email, the network, and ANGEL log-ins.

Have you logged in and set a password for My Hawkeye, email, the network, or ANGEL log-in?

  • YES, I have logged in to My Hawkeye, my email, the network, or ANGEL: Your My Hawkeye, email, network, and ANGEL password is the same. If you remember the password you use to get into My Hawkeye, your email, the network, or ANGEL, you do not need to reset your password.

  • NO, I haven't logged into anything: Your password is your birthday in six digits. Example: January 4, 1983 = 010483.

Once you are logged in you will need to change your password. Please choose a password you will remember.

Your password needs to be alpha-numeric (have letters and numbers), six or more characters, and it cannot be one of the last two passwords you've used.

Resetting Your Password

If you are having problems logging onto My Hawkeye, your email, the network, or ANGEL and your password needs to be reset, you can:

  • visit the Student Tutoring and Computer Lab. Please bring a valid picture ID such as your Hawkeye Card or driver's license.

  • visit the Hawkeye Library. You must show your Hawkeye Card before Library staff can reset your password.

    For your security passwords cannot be reset by telephone or email.

  • reset your password online

    1. enter your Hawkeye username (robert.doe) and birthdate

    2. answer the five questions you previously set as your security questions

    3. your password needs to be alpha-numeric (have letters and numbers), six or more characters, and it cannot be one of of the last two passwords you've used.
