Shooting Stars Preschool Classroom
The Shooting Stars preschool classroom serves children ages 3–5 years. Teachers plan a variety of individual and group activities to stimulate your child socially, intellectually, and creatively. The Shooting Stars curriculum, environment, and experiences are based on the children’s developmental needs and interests.

Lauren Norcross
Lauren graduated from Hawkeye Community College in 2014 with her Associates in Early Childhood Education. She moved to Waterloo from the Quad Cities and is excited to be back in the area!
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys camping, taking her dog Lucy for walks, spending time with family, listening to music, and watching Netflix.

Jessica Carney
Jessica Carney graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2003 with a BA in Early Childhood Education. She went on and earned a MS in Child Development in 2008 from Erikson Institute. Jessica has been working in the early childhood field for many years.
Jessica is originally from the suburbs of Chicago and moved to the area in 2011. She currently resides in Cedar Falls with her husband, children, and their dog. She enjoys kayaking, biking, reading, and spending time with family.
