Interviewing for a Work-Study Position
Once you have found a work-study position you are interested in, call and set up an interview with the supervisor. You will not interview with the Financial Aid office. When you call to set up your interview, be sure to say that you have received your Work-Study Award. When interviewing for a work-study position, treat the interview as you would any other job interview. This is great practice for when you are interviewing for jobs after you graduate. Remember, you are not guaranteed a job; you are afforded the opportunity to work. Dress appropriately, be on time, and bring a resume if you have one. To work for the work-study program you can only hold one position at a time. Learn more about switching work-study positions. Work-Study Handbook | Next Page > |
