The assessment process plays an important role in the applying and getting into college. These assessment tests help Hawkeye to identify your skill areas and assist you in planning your classes and class load.
Hawkeye Community College is an official testing site for several college entrance exams as well as some professional certification programs. Students are able to complete admission exams with the COMPASS assessment and the ACT, earn college credit with the CLEP, and earn certification with the Federal Aviation Administration, Automotive Service Excellence, and Iowa Board of Dentistry.
Monday – Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
Tests are scheduled by appointment only. Information regarding evening and Saturday hours, is available upon request.
