* Upon successful completion of First Aid and the * courses, the student is awarded a diploma of surgical technology and is eligible to take the national certification exam offered by the Liaison Council for Surgical Technologist certification.

** ICN courses

Surgical Technology Prep is a Fall start program. The third semester is taken during the summer and the fourth semester is an optional semester for students who wish to obtain their AAS degree.

ICN classes are taken through Kirkwood at the Hudson Library ICN location.

Clinic experiences take place at an assigned area hospital.
