Agricultural Business Management

The Agricultural Business Management program prepares students for careers in sales, service, production, management, marketing, and research in Agriculture. Hawkeye's 400-acre Farm Laboratory utilizes new and up-to-date facilities and equipment to provide students hands-on experience with the latest production and management techniques.

Partnerships

Hawkeye's Agriculture and Natural Resources program is a Lead Partner College with AgrowKnowledge. This partnership of colleges, universities, and industry is working together to support and enhance Agriculture Education and the workforce being trained for the agricultural industry.

Length of Study

An associate of Applied Science degree takes two years to complete. However students may apply for a General Agriculture Diploma after one year.

Transfer Information

Hawkeye Community College’s Ag and Natural Resources Programs have articulation agreements with Iowa State, Upper Iowa University, and Northwest Missouri to transfer both general education and technical credits. Many other state and private colleges and universities accept up to 65 credit hours. For more information, contact a program advisor.
