Hawkeye Community College and the University of Iowa are working together to help students earn their bachelors degree in four years guaranteed!
Now, Hawkeye students pursuing their AA degree are able to sign up for Iowa’s 2 Plus 2 Program during their first year of studies. Students in the 2 Plus 2 Program will have a University of Iowa advisor to help them in selecting their course studies. Students successfully following the 2 Plus 2 Program are ensured a seamless transfer and are guaranteed to graduate in two years.
The 2 Plus 2 Program includes 15 majors with more majors being planned. These majors include:
Students in the 2 Plus 2 Program will also receive an Iowa student ID, an email account, access to their online degree evaluation, access to the Iowa Library, access to Pomerantz Career Center, and student discounts to university athletic and cultural events.
