Creating and Maintaining a Social Media Presence


Blogs must be created by the Public Relations and Marketing office. Administrator privileges for the blog will be granted to the person or persons responsible for updating the page. The Public Relations and Marketing office must always hold an administrator position on the blog to be recognized by Hawkeye.

The images for blogs must maintain a consistent graphic identity and must be coordinated through the Public Relations and Marketing office.

Blogs that do not follow these guidelines, the Hawkeye website guidelines, or that are created without the involvement of the Public Relations and Marketing office, will not be linked from Hawkeye's website or promoted on Hawkeye's official social media presences.

Maintaining a blog takes time and dedication. For a successful presence, blogs should be updated at least twice a week.
