Hawkeye Logo and Visual Identity Policy

The Hawkeye logo and its visual identity are major elements in Hawkeye's branding.

Official logo use guidelines have been created to support Hawkeye's goal of producing clearly identifiable, high-quality communications.

Hawkeye Community College does not recognize department, program, building, club, or any other college entity individual logo. Therefore, these logos will not be used in official college materials or correspondence.

The success of our visual identity program depends on the cooperation of the entire Hawkeye community.

Official Hawkeye Logos

The Hawkeye logo must be used in its entirety to retain its graphic integrity.

There are four Hawkeye logos that are approved for use: the primary logo, stacked logo, horizontal logo, and stacked logo - font only.

Where can I find official Hawkeye logos?

You can request an official Hawkeye logo from Graphic Services or, if you are a Hawkeye employee, you can find official logos on the U:/ drive in the "Hawkeye Logo Files" folder.

Suggested Fonts

Helvetica, Arial, and Garamond work well with the Hawkeye logo.

Any modification to the official logos, other than resizing the logo, is a violation of the Visual Identity policy.

If you resize the logo, make sure your adjustments are proportionate.

Do not change the color

Do not use elements from the logo to create a new logo

Do not rearrange elements from the logo to create a new logo
