PRM205 Writing for the Web

This two day, eight hour workshop provides you with a basic overview of the best practices of websites and how to apply them to the Hawkeye website.

You Will Learn

  • how people use websites
  • basic navigation concepts
  • how to write headings
  • how to write links
  • how to write your web content in a conversational tone
  • basic web concepts

Course Materials


You will rewrite a page of copy so it is web friendly. You will have to demonstrate understanding of the college writing style.

Class Policies

  • Please arrive to class on time. We will begin promptly.
  • You must attend both sessions of the workshop
