Part I

HCC received funding from the LRTF to develop native plant demonstration gardens.

Part 2

Funding provided for the establishment of two acres of vegetation to compare the effects of drilling and hydroseeding on plant establishment.

Part 3

HCC students enhanced, with forbs,  a four acre segment of vegetation planted previously in late summer 1998 with a grass dominated mix.

Part 4

HCC students hydroseeded a steep roadside with native vegetation, partnering with a local landowner.

Part 5

LRTF funding provided for prescribed burn equipment for student protection.
