We provided education of native plants through our demonstration gardens; prairie restoration, roadside enhancement, etc for HCC students.  Additional gardens were added.

Scout Planting
Phil Nichol transplanted forbs hard to establish by seed for his Eagle Scout project.

Students learned about native plants by maintaining and enhancing the native plant demonstration gardens.  Additional prairies were developed by drilling and hydroseeding.

Educational Equipment
This original grant assisted the program in becoming operational.  It provided for a Truax drill, NoMex Suits for prescribed burning and Chain Saws for brush control.
