The same due dates apply. This means the files are copied to the computer network on the due date. The assignment due date will not be extended because you forgot the files at home, or you had problems with transferring files to the network!
Is Your Assignment Complete?
Assignments must be complete when you turn them in. This means all parts of the assignment are done and saved on the network. Double check your files against the "turn in" section of the assignment to be sure you have all the required files. It is also a good idea to look at the items on the grading checklist to see that you have done them.
Keyboarding Test Out
If you need a keyboarding class and think you type well enough to test out, sign up for the keyboarding test out Tuesday, November 17 at 2 p.m. Sign up in the Department Office - BH177.
Resume Workshop
The Student
Services Office along with Iow@ Work are putting together a Resume
Workshop, Tuesday, November 17th at 2:00pm. We are targeting
student who getting ready to graduate and are in need of creating a
resume. This workshop will be held in the Career Center Room, Upper
Level of the Hawkeye Center.
This is a good opportunity for student to learn the do’s and don’ts of resume writing. We will also be offering follow up sessions with the Iow@ Work staff. In this follow up meetings students will be able to sit down one on one and have the resume they created critiqued. Preregister in Student Services, as there will be a short application to fill out for Iow@ Work.
