Shuttle Drivers

JOB SUMMARY: This individual drives bus/van in the Cedar Valley area. Transports students to/from their scheduled destinations. Provides courteous service, assisting students when necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned.
 

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma/GED. Valid driver’s license (CDL, Class B with air brakes -Passenger/School). Good driving record. Must be insurable (automobile). Must pass criminal record check. Ability to drive 60 passenger bus and 15 passenger van. Must be reliable, prompt, and courteous. Ability to work with staff, students, local and public officials, and the general public. Ability to work with confidential information. Ability to provide excellent customer service and skill in public relations. Ability to respond quickly to deadlines and perform a multitude of tasks. Ability to understand and follow oral and written direction. Ability to assist riders if necessary. Ability to work with diverse individuals and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends. Possess good organizational skills.
 

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Part-time position averaging 20 to 29 hours per week. Anticipated hours will be five to eight hours per day between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., three to five days per week (Sunday through Saturday).
