Mentoring and Induction

Mentoring Tools

Like good teaching, good mentoring must be intentional. It requires planning, implementation, and reflection. Mentors are constantly engaged with their mentee.

  • Are we making progress toward desired results?
  • How do we know?

Training for effective mentoring is provided through the Brobst Center for Teaching and Learning Services. Applied appropriately, these tools assist the mentor in developing plans and meaningful reflection with their mentee.
