The 2014 Diversity in STEM Conference: Building Pipelines to Access and Inclusion at Hawkeye Community College will bring together experts who will present the best means to increase the enthusiasm of diverse students for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines and professions, as well as provide programs that demonstrate success in increasing access, retention, and graduation of diverse student populations in STEM majors.

Keynote Speaker – Dr. Randal Pinkett

Dr. Randal Pinkett is a voice for his generation in business and technology and is an entrepreneur, speaker, author and scholar. He is the founder, chairman and CEO of his fifth venture, BCT Partners, a multimillion-dollar management consulting and information technology solutions firm. In his book, “Campaign to Redefine the Game,” he calls Americans to level the playing field in the 21st century workplace.
