HVAC Apprenticeship

Hawkeye offers four levels of HVAC apprenticeship curriculum approved by the Department of Labor for individuals who are sponsored by an employer or local business.

The apprenticeship classes fulfill the 144 classroom training hours required by an approved apprenticeship program.

The HVAC apprenticeship curriculum is offered in face-to-face and online class formats. Online HVAC Apprenticeship are available for individuals who live or work more than 45 miles from the Cedar Falls Center.

Attendance is a required.

License Renewal

A variety of HVAC classes are available for HVAC professionals to fulfill license requirements, brush up on skills, or learn new techniques.

Hawkeye HVAC classes are approved by the Iowa Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board to provide continuing education units for those working in plumbing, hydronic, HVAC, and refrigeration fields. Review license renewal requirements.
