Expandable Baton & Personal Defense Spray Certification

Upon successful completion of this course the reserve peace officer will have the necessary certification needed to carry and utilize an expandable baton (ASP Baton or comparable baton) and OC or OC/CS personal defense sprays.

Officers needing only one certification may attend, call for more information.

This is NOT a cerfication course for the expandable PR-24.

Class Schedule

Students are required to bring the following items:

• An expandable baton
• Gun Belt — NO Gun, NO Ammunition, NO Magazines, and NO Duty knife
• Comfortable workout attire

Optional items

• A change of clothes
• Duty Personal Defense Spray

Additional Requirements

Students must:

• sign a waiver indicating that they are physically fit to participate in strenuous activities.
• sign a waiver of liability.
