Eligibility Requirements

Students must be at least 16 years old to participate in the GED program.

If you are 16 or 17 years old, your parent or guardian and the last high school you attended must complete the appropriate form granting you permission to complete your GED.

If you are 18 years of age, the last high school you attended must complete a form confirming that you have not completed high school [pdf].

If you are 19 years of age or older, no forms are needed.

You must be proficient in English. You can improve your English with English Learning Language classes.
