Citizenship Classes

Hawkeye offers citizenship classes to individuals who have applied for U.S. citizenship or plan to apply in the next year. Classes are designed to help explain the naturalization process. Copies of the 100 questions that are asked on the citizenship test will be distributed in class.

Do I need to know English to take the citizenship classes?

Yes, you will need to be able to speak, read, and write in English to take the citizenship test. Learn about our English Language Learning courses.
