Children's Holiday Party 2012

Several families gathered in the Brock Student Center on Thursday evening to participate in activities associated with the annual Children's Holiday Party. This annual event is hosted by Student Senate and is open for any students, faculty, and staff of Hawkeye Community College to bring their children to. The children who attended were able to participate in the following activities: - Coloring
- Make your own snowman at the craft table
- Face painting
- Decorating sugar cookies and drinking hot cocoa
- Making hot cocoa jars to take home
- Visiting with Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause
- The fishing game - "fish" to get a prize
- Guess how many Hershey Kisses are in the jar to win the candy
The children, parents, families, and members of Student Senate had an enjoyable evening filled with sweet treats and fun.
