Hawkeye Community College to Host Community Supported Agriculture Talk on February 7

WATERLOO–Hawkeye Community College will host a lecture on community supported agriculture on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, from 12:00-12:45 p.m. in Tama Hall on Hawkeye’s Main Campus, 1501 East Orange Road, Waterloo.
Rob Faux of Genuine Faux Farm in Tripoli will discuss how a community supported agriculture system functions, what it means to farm organic, and the farm-to-table food movement. Attendees are welcome to bring a sack lunch. There is no cost to attend and the public is welcome.
This event is the first in a new lecture series organized by the Hawkeye Community College Honors Program.
