Cedar Valley Biennial Art Exhibition Opens December 5

WATERLOO–The 2017-2018 Cedar Valley Biennial Art Exhibition opens Tuesday, December 5, with an opening reception from 6:00-8:00pm at the Waterloo Center for the Arts, 225 Commercial Street, Waterloo. Awards and remarks will be at 7:00pm.
This exhibition takes place every two years and includes work from students at Hawkeye Community College, the University of Northern Iowa, Wartburg College, and Upper Iowa University. The juror for the show is Jane Gilmore, an Iowa artist and professor emeritus at Mount Mercy University.
The show will be open in the Law/Court Theater Gallery through February 11, 2018. Gallery hours are 10:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday through Saturday, and 1:00-5:00pm on Sundays.
Sponsors for the event are the Waterloo Center for the Arts, Friends of the Art Center, University book and Supply, and the participating institutions.
