Hawkeye Community College to Host STEMkids Summer Camps

WATERLOO–Hawkeye Community College will hold STEMkids Engineering and Robotics Summer Camps for kids ages 11-13. The first camp is June 12-14, 9:00am-3:00pm at the Waverly Outreach Center, 215 20th St NW, Waverly. The second is June 26-28, 9:00am-3:00pm at the Western Outreach Center 17040 Market Avenue, Holland.

The camps will introduce kids to engineering, coding, and programming using Ozobots and building Rube Goldberg machines. Through fun, interactive, hands-on design challenges, students will develop creative confidence, critical thinking skills, and the ability to collaborate and communicate as a team.
