Students seeking a BS degree from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences may select from the following Majors and Programs:

Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA on all college-level course work. Some programs may require a higher GPA.
24 transferable semester hours of college credit OR meet all admission requirements of incoming freshman.
All credits earned will transfer on a credit by credit basis.

Foreign Language Requirement
To fulfill this requirement, students must either:
- complete two years of a single foreign language in high school OR
- two semesters of a single foreign language in college.
Must earn a C- or better in each of the following courses:
- ENG105 Composition I
- ENG106 Composition II
LIB160 Library Instruction, offered at Iowa State, must also be taken to fulfill the English Proficiency requirement.

We encourage students to work closely with their Hawkeye Advisor in Student Services and their Iowa State advisor to plan the courses they need to take at Hawkeye to transfer to the major of their choice.
