Students seeking a BS degree from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences may select from the following Majors and Programs:

Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA on all college-level course work. Some programs may require a higher GPA.
24 transferable semester hours of college credit OR meet all admission requirements of incoming freshman.
All credits earned will transfer on a credit by credit basis.

Foreign Language Requirement
To fulfill this requirement, students must either:
- complete two years of a single foreign language in high school OR
- two semesters of a single foreign language in college.
Must earn a C- or better in each of the following courses:
- ENG105 Composition I
- ENG106 Composition II
LIB160 Library Instruction, offered at Iowa State, must also be taken to fulfill the English Proficiency requirement.
