Interior Design
Training for Interior DesignersThe Interior Design program prepares students to plan the spaces in which people live and work. The main focus of the interior designer is to establish client needs, preferences, and budget in the selection of furniture, materials, colors, and lighting. Interior designers draw upon many disciplines to enhance the health, safety, and welfare of interior spaces. They prepare presentation boards and business documents as they coordinate the project through completion. Experience and TrainingThe curriculum is developed with the guidance of a strong advisory committee composed of professional interior designers. Students have the opportunity to work in a professional interior design setting through their internship.
