This service is available during our regular business hours. Save us in your contacts and text us when you’re on the go. What kinds of questions should I ask using Text a Librarian? Use Text a Librarian for simple, quick questions or to request a study room or renew materials. Questions requiring lengthy or detailed responses may be submitted via our Ask a Librarian email service. What kind of response will I get? Questions sent during our service hours will receive a prompt response. Questions sent outside of service hours receive an automated response and will be answered the next service day. Responses will come as two messages if they exceed 160 characters. We will ask for your ID #/name when you are requesting a study room or renewing materials, otherwise your identity is anonymous to us. Text a Librarian is Private and Secure - Our text service assigns a random User ID number to each patron.
