Career Academies

Career Academies give you the opportunity to earn college credit and may include hands-on experience in the workplace.

How does this benefit you?

• Convenient – Courses are offered at your high school, at Hawkeye's main campus, or at a Hawkeye center, depending on the academy track.

• Save Money – Many courses are free for you since your high school pays for the courses and may provide textbooks.

• Career Exploration – By taking college courses in high school, you can explore careers and majors to help you determine your future.

• Saves Time – You can complete your college degree faster! Just by taking four college courses throughout high school,  you can finish your college degree one semester early!
